Organic Skin Care

You may think that the products that we see on television, in our favorite nail salon, at the grocery store, or at a retail chain are safe.  Who would question the safety of these products when the marketing is driven into our minds and brand loyalty has long been established.  But did you know that personal care products ranging from toothpaste, body lotion, makeup, and everything in between are not scrutinized by the FDA?  With that being said, it is in our hands to take our skin seriously and make the best possible decisions regarding our skin’s health and well being.

The cosmetic, skincare, and personal care-related industry can put virtually any ingredient into their products and therefore it is in the hands of the manufacturer to ensure a safe and quality product.  This is precisely why the consumer needs to be educated on what ingredients are harmful, carcinogenic, toxic, or hormone disruptive so that an informed decision can be made when determining what you will put in and on your body and on those that you love.

Purchase “How to Live Your Best Life the Organic and Healthy Way” for an informative discussion on reading and understanding skincare product labels, ingredients to avoid and why, and suggestions for safe, all natural, and organic skincare alternatives.
