Organic Food

Food products are packed full of shelf-life extenders, additives, preservatives, and other potentially harmful ingredients.  We would never stop to consider the ingredient label and perhaps manufacturers know this and thereby support their efforts with direct-to-consumer campaigns that appeal to those interested in a quick and appealing dinner solution! These quick meals are a compliment to our busy lives but at what expense?

The marketing and labeling of many mainstream products are so misleading. For instance, a consumer may be drawn to a product claiming to offer a significant amount of fiber per serving…oblivious to the fact that high fructose corn syrup and or partially hydrogenated oils are also lurking in the product.

Purchase “How to Live Your Best Life the Organic and Healthy Way” for a comprehensive list of ingredients and food additives to avoid, a practical solution for purging your pantry and refrigerator and transitioning to a healthy and organic kitchen and cooking, and the author’s favorites for all of your staples and practically everything but the kitchen sink!

Organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products come from animals that are NOT given antibiotics or growth hormones.
A product can only be labeled "organic" after a Government-approved certifier inspects the farm where the food is grown to make sure the farmer is following all USDA organic standards and rules.
